I bought a cheaper MP4 player online at Ebay, and I can’t get download songs on it from my Itunes.?

It has a driver C.D. with it, but it won’t load on my computer. Anyway, the seller told me that it didn’t need the driver b/c I have Windows XP. So I hook up the MP4 player to the front of my CPU aby USB. It says that the USB doesn’t recognize the item attached. I would like someone to give me an idea what you do to download from the computer to a MP4 or MP3 player. It totally confuses me, but I would definitely like to use this player to walk and get some exercise. I hate those bulky radios and CD players. Thanks, Debbye

It looks like you might need that CD after all. Sometimes the Plug-and-Play functionality in Windows is disabled or ineffective.

You might also run into the problem of itunes not wanting to work with your device. In that case, you would want to use Windows Media Player. If any of your songs are downloaded from itunes music store you will need to burn them to CD and import them into WMP to circumvent the Digital Rights Management of iTunes.
